A native of Gaston County, Jonathan grew up playing soccer, baseball, football and even played football and ran track and field in high school. He became a fitness trainer at the local YMCA at 18, and worked there while on holiday from college. During his time at Winston Salem State University he began competition power lifting along with being certified through the International Sports Science Association, and continued his fitness training with staff and fellow students. He also helped develop healthier options for the student cafeteria, working with the fitness director and fellow trainer and training partner. He brings a vast array of knowledge and experience, and is setting new standards for providing elite athletes, athletes, and everyone in the community with cutting edge training and nutritional guidance based on the latest sports science. He has trained many people helping them achieve their goals, improve their performance and ultimately fulfill their dreams and ambitions. He has great expertise in planning and implementing strength and speed programs from aspiring youth athletes to elite professional athletes.
After college, however Jonathan began to have his own struggles with weight and fitness. His personal struggle provides him with a unique perspective on creating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. He is excited about fulfilling a life-long dream to open his own club that will allow him to impact others in a positive manner.
Jonathan loves spending time with his loving and supportive wife Amitria and son Gabriel, and cherishes his time with his friends and family.

Jordan grew up in Mount Holly, N.C, where he was active in sports such as baseball, football, and wrestling. In 2008, he was presented a lifetime achievement award for his involvement in Stanley optimist sports. In high school, he began working for the YMCA, where he worked with children as an afterschool counselor and began expanding his knowledge of health and fitness.
After graduating high school, Jordan began to pursue a career in the entertainment business as a singer/songwriter, actor, and fitness model. He eventually moved to Atlanta, G.A, where he began focusing more on personal training while pursuing his other goals. His passion for enjoying life inspires him to help teach people ways that they can stay active and healthy while enjoying their lives.
Jordan enjoys spontaneous adventures, being active, and spending time with his loved ones.
Ewanda Thompson, Fitness Professional

Ewanda Thompson is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. She lived in Washington, D.C. for twelve years and relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina five years ago. Ewanda is a full time personal trainer, diet and lifestyle coach. She has five years of experience helping individuals achieve their weight loss and fitness goals.
Ewanda is certified through the International Sports Science Association. Along with a personal training certification she is certified as a Speed and Explosion Specialist, through the National Association of Speed and Explosion. Ewanda also holds a certificate in Advanced Exercise and Nutrition. In an effort to become more efficient in her passion of working with individuals to achieve a healthier lifestyle, Ewanda completed her Master’s in Exercise Science Health and Wellness Promotion. Ewanda’s master thesis, Exercise And Its Effects On Rheumatoid Arthritis, was a product of her research and personal experience with her clientele.
Ewanda’s passion for health and fitness started at the tender age of nine when she joined her first basketball team. Her athletic experience continued as she played college basketball and later toured Europe while on the “All Navy Armed Forces” Basketball team. Ewanda is a Navy veteran who served in Desert Storm as flight crew member deployed to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Ewanda spent her limited free time playing basketball and lifting weights as a form of recreation and stress relief during the war.
To date, Ewanda has trained people of all stations of life and varied health challenges with regard to achieving their fitness and nutritional goals. She has experience working with pregnant women, those suffering physical injuries, individuals who want to lose weight and get in shape; as well as sports enthusiasts preparing for a competition. Whatever is needed, her goal is to tailor a program specifically designed to fit you as an individual. Ewanda’s goal is to assist individuals in their personal journey of achieving and maintaining a healthier lifestyle. You may have already seen Ewanda featured on the Charlotte Daily Show. Clay was born and raised in Gaston County. He is a graduate of Ashbrook High School, UNC-Charlotte where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Fitness, and East Carolina University where he finished with a Master of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science.
Growing up, Clay participated in many sports but the activity that really caught his attention was weightlifting. This affection for lifting helped him decide on his major in college. While in undergraduate he had the opportunity to volunteer and intern with the UNC-Charlotte Strength and Conditioning Program, and also work under the former Charlotte Hornet’s Strength Coach.
While working on his Master’s Degree, Clay was a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. This gave him the opportunity to lead Men’s and Women’s Golf, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Cheerleading, and Men’s and Women’s Distance Swimmers. He assisted the Director of Strength and Conditioning with Football, Men’s Basketball, Men’s Track, Baseball, and Softball.
Clay enjoys building relationships with people and helping them attain their goals. He has come to learn that exercise and strength aren’t about trying to be someone else, but taking what God has given you and making it the best it can be.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, friends, and family. Clay also enjoys the hobby of natural bodybuilding.

William Royster, a Charlotte native, holds a criminal justice degree from Western Carolina University. He developed a passion for health and fitness through sports and personal weight management. He began his informal personal training career when he shared his passion with co-workers through lending advice and training with them. After seeing positive results from his training and encouragement, William decided to get certified and make a permanent career change. Since that time, William has worked with major health clubs and managed one-on-one facilities. William loves seeing clients achieve their goals and exceeding their expectation of themselves.

Jamie grew up in Charlotte, NC. She was a competitive swimmer for Mecklenburg Aquatic Club (MAC) from the age of 5, holding several state records and national standings through the years. She was the high school state champion in the 100 yard backstroke 3 years in a row at East Mecklenburg High School and attended Pfeiffer University on a swimming, cross-country and academic scholarship.
On going fitness training and certification is important to Jamie. Currently she is certified to teach Zumba, Reebok Cycle, TurboKick Kickboxing, Les Mills BODYPUMP, BODYSTEP, BODYCOMBAT , BODYJAM and BODYFLOW, as well as Boot camp and Athletic Conditioning Classes. She is both CPR, AED and First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. Jamie has earned the AFAA Primary Group Exercise Certification and has completed the AFAA Practical Pilates and Practical Yoga workshops.
Jamie now lives in Belmont, NC and has 2 children, Morgan and Staton with her husband, Chris Jones.
